Main
- 250 g noodles or spaghetti
- 400 g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp black pepper (or more 👀)
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 3–4 tbsp pasta water
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Garnish
- Dried parsley or herbs
- Extra black pepper
🔪 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Noodles
- Boil noodles in salted water until al dente
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water
- Drain and set aside
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp
- Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a pan (medium-high)
- Add shrimp
- Season lightly with salt & pepper
- Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink
- Remove shrimp and set aside
3️⃣ Make the Sauce
- In same pan, add remaining butter
- Add garlic, cook 20–30 seconds (don’t burn)
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, chili flakes
- Stir well
4️⃣ Combine Everything
- Add noodles to the pan
- Splash in pasta water
- Toss until noodles are glossy and coated
- Add shrimp back in
- Finish with black pepper + sesame oil
5️⃣ Serve
- Sprinkle parsley
- Add more pepper if you like it bold 🔥
- Serve hot (best cheese-pull-style noodle stretch 😮💨)
