Cheesecake Stuffed Baked Apples Delight

Prep time: 20 mins | Bake time: 30–35 mins | Servings: 4 stuffed apples

Ingredients

  • The Apples:
    • 4 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp) — sturdy for baking.
  • The Cheesecake Filling:
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened.
    • ¼ cup granulated sugar.
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract.
    • 1 large egg.
  • The Topping & Garnish:
    • ¼ cup graham cracker crumbs or brown sugar crumble.
    • Caramel sauce, for drizzling.
    • Whipped cream (optional).

Instructions

  1. Prep the Apples: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the tops off the apples and use a spoon or melon baller to hollow out the center, removing the core and enough flesh to create a “bowl” while leaving the bottom intact.
  2. Make Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg until the mixture is smooth and light.
  3. Stuff: Spoon the cheesecake filling into each hollowed-out apple until nearly full.
  4. Bake: Place the apples in a baking dish. Pour a small amount of water or apple juice into the bottom of the dish to keep them moist. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the apple is tender and the cheesecake filling is set.
  5. Add Crunch: During the last 5–10 minutes of baking, sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs or crumble over the top of the filling.
  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a generous drizzle of warm caramel sauce.
