Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin

Introduction

Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin is a juicy, flavorful dish with the perfect balance of sweet honey, savory soy, and aromatic garlic. It’s quick enough for weeknights yet impressive enough for guests.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 pork tenderloin (about 500–700 g)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

1. Season Pork

Pat tenderloin dry and season with salt and pepper.

2. Sear

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork on all sides until browned (about 5–6 minutes total).

3. Make Sauce

In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar.

4. Cook

Pour sauce into skillet and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until internal temp reaches 63°C / 145°F.

5. Thicken Sauce (Optional)

Remove pork. Stir cornstarch slurry into sauce and simmer until thickened.

6. Rest & Slice

Let pork rest 5 minutes, slice medallions, and spoon sauce over top.
