Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1 pork tenderloin (about 500–700 g)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Honey Garlic Sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
1. Season Pork
Pat tenderloin dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. Sear
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork on all sides until browned (about 5–6 minutes total).
3. Make Sauce
In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar.
4. Cook
Pour sauce into skillet and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until internal temp reaches 63°C / 145°F.
5. Thicken Sauce (Optional)
Remove pork. Stir cornstarch slurry into sauce and simmer until thickened.
6. Rest & Slice
Let pork rest 5 minutes, slice medallions, and spoon sauce over top.
