- 400–500 g ground beef
- 300 g spaghetti or egg noodles
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 1 carrot (diced)
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp oil
Sauce
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional but great)
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ cup water or beef broth
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thicker sauce)
🔪 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Noodles
- Boil noodles in salted water until al dente
- Drain and set aside
2️⃣ Brown the Beef
- Heat oil in a large pan or wok
- Add onion, cook until soft
- Add garlic, stir 30 seconds
- Add ground beef
- Cook until browned and slightly crispy
3️⃣ Add Vegetables
- Add carrots and bell peppers
- Stir-fry 3–4 minutes (they should stay slightly crunchy)
4️⃣ Make It Saucy
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, sugar, pepper, paprika
- Pour in water/broth
- Optional: add cornstarch slurry for a glossy thick sauce
- Simmer 2 minutes
5️⃣ Combine with Noodles
- Add cooked noodles
- Toss everything together until well coated
- Taste and adjust seasoning
6️⃣ Optional Bake (like the tray in the image)
- Transfer to a baking dish
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes
