Ingredients: π
For the Steak Bites:
1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
For the Mashed Potatoes:
2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 tbsp butter

3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
To Garnish:
Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions: π©βπ³
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cubed potatoes and cook for about 12β15 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain well.
While the potatoes are still warm, mash them until smooth. Add the butter first and let it melt into the potatoes.
Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the mashed potatoes are smooth, creamy, and fluffy. Cover and keep warm.
In a bowl, season the steak bites with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and cracked black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer and cook for about 2β3 minutes per side until nicely browned.
Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Toss the steak bites in the melted garlic butter for about 1 minute, spooning the butter over the steak for extra flavor.
Spoon the creamy Parmesan mashed potatoes onto serving plates. Top with the garlic butter steak bites and drizzle the remaining garlic butter from the skillet over the top.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes & Variations: π
For extra flavor, add roasted garlic to the mashed potatoes.
Swap the steak with grilled chicken pieces for a different protein option.
Add steamed broccoli or green beans on the side for a balanced meal.
If you prefer lighter mashed potatoes, substitute half of the heavy cream with warm milk.
