Crispy Cotton Candy Cheesecake Bombs

Prep time: 15 mins | Chill time: 2 hours | Servings: 8–10 bombs

Ingredients

  • The Cheesecake Filling:
    • ¼ cup whipped topping.
    • ½ cup powdered sugar.
    • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
    • ½ teaspoon cotton candy extract or flavoring.
  • The Outer Shell:
    • Crispy cereal treats or crushed cookies (for the base).
    • Pink and blue sanding sugar or crushed hard cotton candy (for the crispy coating).

Instructions

  1. Mix: In a medium bowl, fold together the whipped topping, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cotton candy flavoring until the mixture is light and smooth.
  2. Flavor: Ensure the cotton candy extract is well incorporated so the signature nostalgic flavor is present in every bite.
  3. Chill: Place the cheesecake mixture in the freezer for about 30–60 minutes to firm up slightly, making it easier to handle.
  4. Shape: Scoop small portions of the chilled mixture and roll them into balls.
  5. Coat: Immediately roll each cheesecake bomb into your pink and blue crispy coating until fully covered.
  6. Set: Place the finished bombs on a small graham cracker or cereal base and refrigerate for another hour to allow them to set completely.
