- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix

Instructions
Step 1: Prep and Preheat
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
Step 2: Layer the Strawberries and Cream Cheese
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, stir or beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then drop small dollops of it evenly over the strawberry layer.
Step 3: Add the Cake Mix
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the strawberry and cream cheese layers. Use a fork or spatula to gently smooth the cake mix into an even layer, ensuring it covers the filling completely.
Step 4: Drizzle the Butter
Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the dry cake mix, covering as much of the surface as possible to ensure a golden, crispy cobbler-like crust.
Step 5: Bake
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the strawberry filling is bubbling around the edges and the cake topping turns a beautiful, golden brown. Let the dump cake cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving warm.
