Cheesy Garlic Butter Rollups

Ingredients

  • The Bread: 8 slices of white sandwich bread, with crusts removed.
  • The Cheesy Center:
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
    • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
  • The Garlic Butter Coating:
    • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted.
    • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced.
    • 1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning.
  • Garnish: Freshly chopped parsley.

Instructions

  1. Prep the Bread: Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of crustless white bread until it is thin and pliable.
  2. Fill: Mix the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses in a small bowl. Place a generous line of the cheese mixture along one edge of each bread slice.
  3. Roll: Roll the bread tightly around the cheese, pressing the seam down to secure it.
  4. Garlic Butter Bath: In a small dish, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried seasoning. Brush each rollup generously with the garlic butter on all sides.
  5. Cook: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the rollups seam-side down in the pan.
  6. Toast: Cook for 1–2 minutes per side, turning frequently, until the bread is golden-brown and crispy, and the cheese inside is completely melted.
  7. Finish: Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley while warm.
