Ingredients
- The Pasta: 1 box (16 oz) lasagna noodles, cooked al dente.
- The Burger Filling:
- 2 lbs ground beef, browned and drained.
- 1 small onion, finely diced.
- 2 cloves garlic, minced.
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
- The Cheesy Layers:
- 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese.
- 1.5 cups ricotta cheese.
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
- The Sauce: 3 cups marinara or a creamy cheddar-based cheese sauce.
- The Bacon Topping: 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled into crispy bits.
- Seasoning: Salt, black pepper, and 1 tsp onion powder.
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a large 13×18-inch rimmed sheet pan or a deep baking dish.
- Sauté: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is fully browned. Add the garlic, seasonings, and Worcestershire sauce, then drain any excess fat.
- Mix the Cheese: In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta and 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar.
- Layer:
- Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the pan.
- Lay down a single layer of lasagna noodles.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the beef mixture and more sauce.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a final layer of noodles.
- Top it Off: Cover the top layer of noodles with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese to create a thick, golden blanket.
- Bake: Bake for 25 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and molten.
- Add Crunch: Remove from the oven and sprinkle the crumbled bacon bits evenly over the melted cheese. Return to the oven for 5–10 minutes to finish.
- Rest: Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before slicing into squares to ensure the layers stay intact.
