Instructions
- Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch pie plate or baking dish.
- Brown: In a skillet, cook the ground beef (or sausage) and onion until the meat is browned; drain off the excess fat.
- Layer Meat: Spread the cooked meat mixture evenly in the bottom of the greased pie plate and sprinkle with seasonings.
- Mix Batter: In a bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour this batter over the meat.
- Initial Bake: Bake for 20 minutes.
- Add Pizza Toppings: Remove from the oven. Spread the pizza sauce over the top, then sprinkle generously with cheese and your favorite toppings like pepperoni.
- Final Melt: Bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
- Finish: Let it stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs.
