Instructions
- Brown the Meat: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Sauté Peppers: Add the chopped bell peppers to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Simmer Sauce: Stir in the tomato sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Add Rice: Fold in the cooked rice and stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Melt Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top. Cover the skillet with a lid for 1–2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
