Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread

Prep time: 15 mins | Bake time: 15–20 mins | Servings: 6–8

Ingredients

  • The Bread: 1 large loaf of sourdough or French bread (unsliced).
  • The Cheese Filling:
    • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese (for that epic cheese pull).
    • 1 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar or Monterey Jack.
  • The Garlic Butter:
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted.
    • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced.
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano.
    • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • Garnish: Freshly chopped parsley.

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Score the Bread: Using a serrated knife, cut the bread diagonally into a 1-inch diamond pattern. Be careful not to cut all the way through the bottom crust.
  3. Mix the Butter: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  4. Infuse: Using a spoon or brush, drizzle the garlic butter into all the crevices of the bread.
  5. Stuff: Generously stuff the shredded cheeses into every cut. Don’t be shy—the more cheese, the better!
  6. Wrap & Bake: Wrap the entire loaf loosely in the foil. Bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Crisp: Open the foil to expose the top of the bread and bake for another 5–10 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and bubbling, and the bread is golden and crisp.
  8. Finish: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately while the cheese is molten.
