🌭🥔 Ingredients
- 500 g smoked sausage (beef, chicken, or turkey), sliced
- 5–6 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp dried thyme or oregano
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
- Fresh parsley or thyme (garnish)
🔪 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Potatoes
- Boil potatoes in salted water 8–10 minutes until just tender
- Drain well
2️⃣ Brown the Sausage
- Heat oil/butter in a large skillet over medium-high
- Add sausage slices
- Cook until golden and slightly crispy
- Remove and set aside
3️⃣ Sauté Onion & Garlic
- In same pan, add onion
- Cook until soft
- Add garlic, cook 30 seconds
4️⃣ Combine Everything
- Add potatoes to the pan
- Season with paprika, pepper, herbs, and salt
- Return sausage to the pan
- Toss gently
5️⃣ Add Cheese & Finish
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top
- Cover pan and cook 3–5 minutes on low
- Until cheese melts and everything is hot
