2 tubes (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
For the Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 to 3 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make the cream cheese filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles, placing them flat on the prepared baking sheet with the wide ends facing inward or outward depending on your rolling style.
Add fillings: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle, then top it with a spoonful of cherry pie filling.
Roll them up: Carefully roll up each crescent roll from the wide end to the narrow point, pinching the edges slightly to secure the filling inside.
Bake: Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.
Make the glaze: While the rolls bake, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth and pourable.
Glaze and serve: Drizzle the sweet vanilla glaze generously over the warm crescent rolls before serving.
