Prep time: 20 mins | Bake time: 25 mins | Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • The Crust: 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade).
  • The Cheesesteak Base:
    • 1/2 lb thinly sliced ribeye or steak strips.
    • 1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced.
    • 1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced.
    • 1 cup shredded Provolone or Mozzarella cheese.
  • The Mac & Cheese Topping:
    • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni.
    • 1.5 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded.
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream or whole milk.
    • 2 tbsp unsalted butter.
  • The Seasoning:
    • 1 tsp garlic powder.
    • Salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Garnish: Freshly chopped parsley or chives.

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Set your oven to 425°F. Grease a large pizza stone or baking sheet.
  2. Sizzle the Steak: In a hot skillet, sauté the onions and peppers until soft. Add the steak strips and cook just until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Prepare the Mac: In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the cream and 1 cup of the Cheddar cheese until smooth. Fold in the cooked macaroni until well-coated.
  4. Assemble: Roll out the pizza dough on your prepared pan. Spread a thin layer of Provolone cheese over the dough, followed by the steak and vegetable mixture.
  5. Top with Mac: Spoon the creamy mac and cheese evenly over the steak layer. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Cheddar on top for a golden finish.
  6. Bake: Place in the oven for 20–25 minutes until the crust is deep golden brown and the mac and cheese is bubbling and slightly crispy on the edges.
  7. Serve: Garnish with fresh herbs and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
