Prep time: 15 mins | Cook time: 20 mins | Servings: 12 sliders
Ingredients
- The Base: 1 pack (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls or slider buns.
- The Protein:
- 12 thin breakfast sausage patties, cooked.
- 6 large eggs, scrambled and cooked into a flat sheet.
- The Cheese: 6–8 slices of Cheddar or American cheese.
- The Savory Topping:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted.
- 1 tsp maple syrup (for a hint of sweetness).
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder.
- Garnish: Freshly chopped chives or parsley.
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the entire slab of rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
- Layer: Arrange the cooked sausage patties over the bottom buns. Layer the sheet of scrambled eggs over the sausage, then top with a generous layer of cheese slices.
- Cap: Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
- Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, and garlic powder. Brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls to ensure a crispy, golden-brown finish.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the tops are toasted.
- Finish: Sprinkle with fresh chopped chives immediately after removing from the oven. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
