- 500 g smoked sausage (beef, chicken, or turkey), sliced into thick coins
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Optional: chili flakes or a dash of hot sauce
- Chopped parsley (garnish)
🔪 Instructions
1️⃣ Sear the Sausage
- Heat a pan over medium heat.
- Add sausage slices (no oil needed if fatty).
- Cook until both sides are deeply browned and slightly crisp.
- Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Make the Glaze
- In the same pan, melt butter.
- Add garlic; sauté 20–30 seconds (don’t burn).
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, pepper, and chili flakes.
3️⃣ Glaze & Caramelize
- Return sausage to the pan.
- Toss to coat.
- Simmer 3–5 minutes, stirring, until sauce thickens and turns glossy.
4️⃣ Finish
- Taste and adjust (more honey = sweeter, more soy = saltier).
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
